Okay, so I've had a Windows 8 Laptop for almost a year now. As we all know, Minecraft has some problems w/ Win 8. But all my friends have Win. 8 and MC works fine. The kind of laptop I have is a Lenovo N580. I've updated my graphics card, and that doesn't work. This is what it says every time I open it.

Bootstrap (v5)
Current time is Feb 17, 2014 3:23:11 PM
System.getProperty('os.name') == 'Windows 8'
System.getProperty('os.version') == '6.2'
System.getProperty('os.arch') == 'x86'
System.getProperty('java.version') == '1.7.0_51'
System.getProperty('java.vendor') == 'Oracle Corporation'
System.getProperty('sun.arch.data.model') == '32'

I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I'm so angry that I can't play minecraft on my laptop. If you know how to help me, PLEASE DO! I will love you forever!

I'm sure you tried searching the error, to see if people have had the same error as you and got a solution. I just did that and found a thread on the minecraft forums with the same error (Or close to it) as yours. I would take a lot at it.
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2095908-launcher-isnt-working/
But, from what I read on it, don't do what the first replay says on the thread, for it doesn't work apparently... (According to others on that thread.)
I will keep on looking around. I got nothing better to do right now. :p

Edit: I've read multiple different topics about the error.

Edit 2: Ah-Ha! Figured it out. The user that you have on your computer, "Ronnie!" has a ! in it. Java doesn't like those type of characters in the directory on your laptop. There are ways to change it, but the best way of doing it is creating a new user on your computer without those characters. So "Ronnie" would work just fine.
Bascilly, Java doesn't like your username. If you make a new account without the !, minecraft and java will work perfectly.
Edit 3: Going to add onto this some more. If you don't know how to make the new account, or get stuck, I found a tutorial on how to do it on windows 8. c:

Wait... so that's all I have to do? Change my name and make no ! in my name?

Yup! But you can't just change the account you have now, for all the directiorys will still have it. Making the new account is the easiest way.

If I already have stuff on my computer downloaded, for example, things like Steam and Sims3, will it delete all those?

Nope! Creating a new user on the computer will just start up a new profile, with all downloads still on the hard drive.
