You find a chest with a leather cap and 1 raw porkchop.
(We should make it 1st person)

Alas, you refuse to consume raw foods, being the picky eater you are. You save the porkchop for a more dire situation or until you find the furnace. You fit the leather cap snugly on top of your head and continue your adventure.

In the distance, you make out what appears to be a pirate ship, a castle, and a cavern. You can only go into one for now.

(Second-person is fun, it's like a text adventure/choose-your adventure kind of books. Besides, we're narrating a single person, first-person makes it seem like a bunch of people.)

You choose the Ship. It has a few chests, but there is another person. You find a stone sword and kill him. You get an Iron chestplate, leather armor, and a bunch of carrots and raw food.

You wander over behind the drivers seat and find a chest but it has nothing of use. You look up and see Jack Sparrow staring at you square in your eye, you study him and realise that he has the exact same gear as you. Suddenly the "He's A Pirate" music starts playing, and you realise you're going to have to 1v1 duel Jack on his own pirate ship.

After a fierce duel and a musical number, you send the Captain into Davy Jones locker. He asks you spare his life, but you ignore him, as you deliver the final blow. However, his cries for help alerted the nearby tributes, who now see you, a fully armored and equipped tribute, with enough equipment to win the game, alone and vulnerable. By the time you notice them coming after you, they're in boats speeding ahead, giving you no time to escape. You are horribly outnumbered, and have no chance fighting them all at once. You hoist the anchor and hope for the best.

The ship sails away and you think your safe. but to your horror you realise that most of the team have exit there paddling boats and are now climbing the ladder onto your magnificent vessel. There is only one more thing you can do to escape, you climb up the mast and jump off aiming for the water, but it does not go to plan.

Just as you jump off, the ship hits an island, and you go spiraling down, crashing into the wreckage. You find yourself in the same void as when you choked on the apple. You hear the familiar words of "Wake up," coming from the figure in the distance. You open your eyes to find yourself crippled in the wreckage. The tributes must've thought you had died and pilfered all your loot. A wooden mast had landed on your foot, too heavy for you to lift, preventing you from escaping. Having no other options, you grab a sharp knife and bite on a piece of wood.
