What's punishment upheld and (fixing)

I've posted 3 different disputes at different times. The first two were punishment upheld which I understood meant I continued to be muted. Then I posted another one and now in game in the reasoning against my mute it also says (fixing). What's that mean and when punishment upheld does that mean it will just last forever no matter what?
