What happend to mobs!

Well ever since Ive noticed mobs were disabled I was pretty unhappy because mobs would just make the game harder and more fun but my real question is why were mobs taken out?

When map 3 came out they spawned to much! And then they turned the mobs off till they fixed it..

could they have not made it only mobs disabled on map 3? i miss mobs they were like my best friend

Then modify map 3 somehow. Lighting up the cave now is not THAT of a big deal.

I am totally in love with all them monsters. They are my friends and i love to maneuver them against my enemies! They are perfect to take out the noobs at the first night! >. Just put some torches in that stupid jungle corna or something, i want my cuddly-noob-exploding-creeper-pals XD
