Maybe we could find a way to enchant flint and steel as a normal enchantment for a bit longer-lasting uses. I'm pretty sure that the developers can do this.

That would be very OP. If you combine the new golden apples with better flints 'n steel, you'll be un-beatable

The new golden apples are balanced, as they now require gold ingots to make instead of nuggets, making them much more difficult to obtain.

Um... Did you forgot about tier 2's? I still get around 4 or 5 golden apples, golden apples now last a minute.

The regeneration doesn't last a minute. The absorption thing does, which just adds two hearts for one minute, and is eliminated the second you lose those hearts. Even though tier 2s still have them, the amount is more than cut in half, as people used to have 10 or more golden apples since you could just use nuggets to make them.

with how common it is to make Flint and steel, I see no reason to take up the amount of uses. I like it just how it is. You can't make flint and steel too overpowered
