now, I doubt this would EVER be implemented or even if its possible, but this is just a wild idea.
I know that already the game has "sponsor chests" laid out and that there has been some debate on whether or not they should be refilled. well, why not just not refill them and replace that with this: a system where the tribute can select what they want based on how many people are watching them and how long they watch.
As time goes on, you rack up "sponsor dollars," a type of currency that is used in the "package shop," based on how many people are watching you.
