The challenge is...Win a game without getting a kill or getting a chest.

Not really too hard, there's plenty of traps on SG4 for example, the house near corn, the libraryish building, gravel trap, ravine etc.

The house near corn is your only bet in deathmatch, and it has to be the beginning of DM too...

I did get a chest and not use anything in it, and got no kills. Pretty darn close.

You can't kill/get chests so you have to rely on that loot for the entire game, or hope you find some more loot

Yeah, find a decked fight, swoop in get the loot, quite easy.
