Quick Question! Is There A New Points System?

Hello, I recently encountered a kill where I got 15k points, which I thought it was weird. I checked the players stats and they had about 110k points! XD I've seen a lot of people today, April 2nd, with a lot of points (5k - 200k) on their account. This an April Fools temporary update glitch or..... is it a weird coincidence......?
