In a rebellion against modern Minecraft, and due to my dislike of almost everything that has been added to the game since the beta 1.8 (coincidentally when notch left), I have started a Minecraft beta 1.3_01 world. It's fun, and brings back the feel of classic Minecraft (which it is). Most of the things I hate about Minecraft now don't exist (enchanting, The End, and everything else that makes this game bloated) and I can have fun with how simple Minecraft used to be.

Anyways, so I've been working on this world for about a week (not constantly, but I've put a good few hours in) and I've put all my progress in this album. As you can see if you read the descriptions for the images, I'm looking for things to add in certain areas. That's the reason I made this thread. If you guys have any ideas for things I can build in those areas, using blocks that existed at the time and wouldn't be too crazy to build in survival, I'd love the help. There's also this overhang in the cliffside that I'm pulling a blank on things to put there. Here is the image, with an explanation inside.

If you guys provide helpful insight, I might keep asking you guys things in the future too :p Also, if you guys start a world like this, you can feel free to post how it goes in this thread too :D

But then there were no beds, which is the main reason I started in beta 1.3. It makes exploring and having different homes a lot easier :p
Yeah but remember that beds changing your respawn point was added in 1.4 :p
I liked that you had to walk your way back home if you died though... I liked building routes to my homes from my spawn point and all that :p

Well still :p Sleeping is nice. Either way, there isn't that much that changed around that time. There was the nether update at some point, and other various not MASSIVE updates. 1.4 added some cool things, but my friend wanted to play 1.3 so I did that :p

Also, I remember when I started playing Minecraft I watched a lot of Coestar. He was really good at the whole 'putting effort into Minecraft' thing. :p He made these amazing bases and extensive mines and fancy travelling methods between them, through the nether or this fancy minecart station that he never ended up fixing from the boosters :p
