I don't understand why some people want Mcsg to be as "realistic" as real life. I know for sure that this won't be implemented but just think of all the cons.

I don't think this would be implemented.

However I'm pretty sure that the clients send their data to the server and the server has to send the name packet to everyone's clients. Therefore the server would control if you could see someone's name or not

I cant believe no one has said that yet. Great thought. I totally agree with this and it would never be Implemented because of something like this.

Usernames will not be hidden, mainly because this effectively brings our community's reporting abilities to a crawl.
