I've just updated my minecraft to 1.7.8. Is everything all right with that? No need to start using 1.7.4 again?

I would update to 1.7.9 if I were you. 1.7.8 can be pretty buggy.

A question on the name changing (not sure if it's been asked yet) - What happens if people were banned for an inappropriate name and they change their name? I figure you have no way of knowing whether they do that unless they tell you, but if they post a ban dispute or something to get unbanned because they changed their name, would you unban them? Also, what could you use as proof to show that they really did just change their name and it's not just someone else's account entirely?
