mcsg client?

i was wondering about hacker and i dont know if this would work but have a mcsg modpack [install from webpage] with a mod that has changed some of mc class files to make it harder for hacker to hack eg look at tekkit there is only 2 hacked clients ftb 0 hacked clients etc

in my opinion this would be the easiest way to stop hacker as must hacker teams don't bother with other modpacks clearly show by the evidence of tekkit and ftb and if a player wanted to hack they would have to do it there self

changing over class file will cause incompatibility thats what may stop hackers

This will make 85% of the players than normaly come not come, because most people don't want to download a pack just to play on a single server.

look it will have all alowed mod pre installed thats how i would see it like better sprint will be incompatible nodus will not work

So absolute every mod that doesn't cheat have to be pre installed?

yes and no have a lite version with a few mods like optifine etc and a full on pack more for map making and mods

Why not just keeping it as it is? There will be a lot less hacker, but also players and donors.
You said that Tekkit just has 2 clients, and most of the hackers in MCSG is using one, Nodus.
This will in general ruin MCSG.

yes they are very basic and only 2 not like 1 mill different clients

So you think 20% of the active minecraft players creates clients? And lots of different clients does no more harm than one, advanced, undetectable one.

This is a good and bad idea. Here's the way I see it.

Pros: Less annoying people, probably.
Everyone will have optifine, less complaining about lag.
Might add the ability to create a modded environment just for MCSG

Cons: Less people in general.
May still be a way around it.
Ease of joining and playing will be decreased for most people.

To start a server with a MCSG would have been fine, but you can't just change something like that after one whole year.
It is like finding a free-to-play game that everyone likes, and then make it pay-to-play when there is a lot of people playing. The forum might even get spammed with different "it sais u nid a klient" posts.
Boba says it is a way around it, but it is not. Few people wants a client just to play a server, that even worked without it. Even more people go to The Hive, that means more donors there, more servers there and also more players there, so they get even more popular and full, more people donate, more servers and more players again, til mostly every SG player is there.
