I think renaming MCGamer Canada to NA East is a good decision. Our Canadian location is the location that the Hive (no advertisement intended) uses for their North American location and it works just fine for people on the East coast.

However, what I'd like to see is a chat bridge (with a prefix of whether they're using East or West) between both of the North American locations. I feel that the Phoenix location is just more active solely because there's more players there.

As for new locations, is there any chance that you could provide us with some data of where players are connecting from (excluding the US, Canada and immediate EU countries around MCGamer's current locations) so that we can get a better idea of where people are connecting from? I'm getting the vibe that reopening the Asian servers may be what would need to happen, but what I'm really interested in is the amount of players connecting from South America, South Africa, the Middle East, and Russia.

I know you guys removed the Asia servers because of the inactivity of people on there but I can assure you that it will be packed with players 24/7 if you bring it back.

For example if you log on to US during the night, its filled with people living in the Asia region.

Okay, I've read every single post so far regarding a new MCGamer location.
Here's my honest opinion.

EU Players:
Players living in EU are fine, they get OP ping, trust me. Do not touch, remove, edit, change EU at all. Germany, Turkey, Romania, etc, etc, they all get under 100 ping which in my opinion is certainly satisfactory.

US Players:
Ofcourse, the argument regarding the changing of US host remains, considering the amount of different states located in US, it is certainly hard to pick one out of the whole country. In my opinion, US has a huge advantage.
For the players BELOW US, they have the actual US servers, for the players above, or North part of US, they have CA which covers almost the whole side of the region.
If your complaining of getting bad ping, look at the other people, who get around 5x worse than you and it being practically unplayable.
At least you all get around 30-120 ping...
(Again, its my opinion, not trying to be hateful in any way! :) )

NA Players:
For NA players, I have no idea why the argument still continues regarding of its hosting.
NA is completely fine, I've rarely seen any complaints from that location so my assumption is that the ping from CA players is satisfactory and shall remain where it is.

AU Players:
Ofcourse, AU is an extremely important host location.
AU certainly makes up for the players living on the other part of the world, opposite of US & CA & EU. I also don't understand the complaints from New Zealand. I mean, really? New Zealand? You have a host right above the country.
So AU is fine.

Regarding NEW locations.
Asia-

Asia. This, to me seems as a very important region that still surprisingly has no "good" host around it.
I've heard, and felt really sorry for AS players, surviving with 150-200+ ping.
Which is definitely, for sure a major disadvantage in-game.
In my opinion, AS might just be the last location MCGamer needs.
And for the host, I've head "United Arab Emirates" players and "Saudi Arabia" players ALOT on servers. If you don't know, their chat-language is something like this:
h3ll0 blablabla38223bsdf2398ru
(yeah, just has numbers used for certain letters idk how :p but yeah..)
And I've personally noticed a huge increase on those players. So the perfect location would be "middle-east" considering that is the location from the countries suffer with the major disadvantage of low-ping.
Here is their ping to servers-
US- 250-300
EU- 170-200
AU- 300-400
CA- 200-250
Which is practically unplayable.
South America, is also not a very necassary location in my opinion, of course, they have the US, EU, CA location which can definitely guarantee them under 130 ping from one of the host-locations, which again, serves a better connection from AS servers.

So I hope my suggestion is taken to consideration, thank you.

Also, regarding the support from AS servers, trust me, the players have immensely increased. Think of it another way, AS players don't have a chance.
Imagine if MCGamer becomes the first middle-east asian host.
HUNDREDS, maybe THOUSANDS of players would get attracted to them. Since their are absolutely ZERO sever-hosts in middle-eastern ASIA.

Trust me, this will make MCGamer BIG, BIG.

And also, the last time AS was taken down as a host from MCGamer was
1) It was an old time, when MCGamer wasn't as competitive & popular back then.
2) It was hosted in SOUTH ASIA. Which only serves good ping to 5-6 *active* countries. If that *host* was in the *middle* eastern part of AS such as United Arab Emirates, it would definitely bring thousands of players back.

If you're thinking middle-eastern players get good ping to SOUTH Asia, you're wrong.
They get around 300 LOL, no idea why... but it's true.

Ah.. sorry :p
I can't have that much in one message :p
Well you can edit it.

Also, most AS players don't get 150 to 200 ping, they get 180 to 265ish. The reason the servers were hosted were they were is because that's where they actually have good server hosts, other countries don't have good server hosts because of the following reasons, either:
1. Don't speak English well enough to communicate and troubleshoot problems.
2. Poor internet/networking issues (might not have a good, efficient connection to other countries).
3. Poor, poor, pooooooor technical support

#BringBackASSingapore

Also to the people who say that their are way more AS players, I don't really know about that, maybe get a poll out or something, I'm still skeptical.

United Arab Emirates, (which is a middle-eastern host location) would be perfect in my opinion, it won't only benefit the thousands of arab players, but almost covers half of Asia itself. It's in the middle, which provides a better connection within a specific radius.
As for singapore, it's located in SouthEast Asia, which would only benefit 3-4 *active-playing* countries, and this is probably why AS was taken down last time, because it was just a few countries that the Asian host location helped.

Again try our Canada network. ca.mcgamer.net

Not really. More ranks would cause confusion.
Maybe you can add a rank between Diamond and Gold so people who cant afford Diamond or Platinum can buy the new rank
