Holy Epiphany Batman!!!( about chest refills)

So i just replied to a thread in on the forums here in mcsg and I got an epiphany on how to fix the Corn's op-ness . What we have done is make the chest refill for the corn only happen every other day starting with the second night, and have the outer chests refill every night. This way you dont have to nerf the corn or even buff the outer chest!

What do you guys think?

This is a great idea, but that would require more coding, etc, and it's a good thing that the cornucopia gets refilled every night so as to bring the tributes closer and cause more action. Now, I also get what you mean about the chests being OP. Their contents are better, and there's 8 of them, so when one person takes them at the refill, he has an insanely unfair advantage. What I believe should be done is have a game mechanic of some kind, that after about 1 minute or so into the match pushes blocks up in front of the 4 of the cornucopia chests making them unusable. This way, the cornucopia is still a key area you want when the chests refill, but it wont turn whoever gets them into a tank. That's my suggestion anyway :D

I dont think that will work though, there is a chest in the pink house that have block over it and you can still access it, and to be able to make a redstone contraption that would block off all chests until night would be a mammoth task in such a small space.

Also you think 8 chests is alot 48 servers have 16 chests!

I'm not sure if that would be the best solution to the problem.
Will this cause teams to hide and wait for 2 nights for the chests to refill?
How will this change teaming as we know it, will we get even more 3(+) teams to compete with other teams who will now all be waiting untill the second night?
Is this going to negatively affect the gameplay of solo players?
Etc.

While it does solve some of the issues it seems to create new issues as well. :(

It's a good idea and solution the problem of the cornucopia chests being OP, but I prefer the idea where all the chests get equal items but the random chests around the map have a lower chance of getting these items.
