Introduction
Hello Tributes!
With the release of MCGamer v2 came new hub systems, new commands, and many new features. What you may not have noticed is that we have a number of new gametypes that have been added to our network!
As we’re widely known as the Survival Games community, we wanted to give a bit more exposure to our newer gametypes so that you guys can try them out and have some fun as well!
For that reason, we are introducing the Gamemode Spotlight! This will be a monthly event wherein we showcase one of our newest game types. Every week, we'll be hosting events, contests, and scheduled games that anyone can be part of. So come join us in our month-long tournament, submit your entries into our contests, and play one of MCGamer's newest gamemodes!
This month’s spotlight is dedicated to Deadly Descent!
Deadly Descent
What exactly is Deadly Descent, you may ask? Well, the objective of the game is simple: be the first person to reach the bottom without taking a deadly fall! It may sound easy, however there are several obstacles that may get in the way of your safe descent to the bottom.
Firstly, you always have to be aware of how many hearts you have. In some cases, even the slightest drop could mean instant death.
You must also be on the lookout for other players. Since PVP is enabled, you can easily be punched off the edge.
This works both ways however, so you can plan your attacks and punch others off as well.
The first person to reach the bottom safely wins the game.
Which Class Will You Choose?
Each class in Deadly Descent has different advantages and disadvantages. Whether you’re the heavyweight or the featherweight, the objective is the same: don’t fall to your death!
Deadly Descent Tournament
For all you Deadly Descenders out there, your moment has finally come! Through the month of February, we will be hosting four one hour sessions of Deadly Descent that will be refereed by members of the staff.
