Guide Emailing Support

Hello Tributes, Jay here with a guide for you guys. It has come to my attention that many people often question, worry, and spam our poor Administrator’s profile pages. I’m here to tell you, and hopefully bring some solutions to your questions, comments and concerns. In addition, to the Do’s and Dont’s of the MCGamer Support Email.

Do:
Email Support if:

• 
  
  
  • You have been banned for Chargeback
  • You have waited more than 24 hours after a purchase from our shop (http://shop.mcgamer.net) and have not received the item

Dont:
Email Support with:

• 
  
  
  • You want to change your forums name
  • You haven't received your donor rank on the forums
  • Your Ban Dispute
  • Your Moderator Application/Age Exception Moderator Application
  • Report Abuses
  • VIP Applications
  • your Skype contact information, they will not contact you via Skype
  • Comments/questions/concerns on Ban times, or any staff policies
  • Hacked accounts (thats for Mojang’s support team)
  • Suggestions, bugs
  • Anything in relation with other servers. This email is strictly for MCGamer only.

What else?​

What you should include in a Support Email ticket:

• 
  
  
  • Your Minecraft Username.
  • A description of the problem that you are experiencing.
  • Any additional information that may be necessary (more below)

Possible Additional Information that our Support team may need:

• 
  
  
  • Link to your forums account (Provide if email to support is in regards to forums)
  • Proof of purchase, which includes a Paypal receipt, Buycraft receipt, and/or transaction ID (If you didn't receive something you paid for, you may be required to show proof of purchase since it may be missing in our system- This is for things in relation to purchased items from the MCGamer Store)
  • Current IP Address (ONLY WHEN ASKED FOR)
  • Other Minecraft accounts that are involved with this issue

TIPS:

• 
  
  
  • Wait 24 hours before emailing support about your problem, sometimes it may take 24 hours before your issue is solved.
  • If its passed 24 hours, go ahead and email support, all you need to know about emailing support is here
  • Keep it professional, don’t be hostile, have the subject of your email be your issue. (Example- Subject: Forum Name Change Request)

Wait 1-3 business days for our Support Team to reply to you, don’t send 5 emails in 1 day because you haven’t received a reply, just wait calmly.

Wait a minute.. what if?​

• Need to change your name on the forums?
• Need your donor rank on the forums?
