Hi everyone,
I have what I like to call McOCD (Minecraft Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and there are some things that really annoy me in 1.7, specifically the placement of blocks in the creative inventory. You've got the new logs being placed at the bottom far from where the rest are placed, and all the wooden slabs and stairs are thrown up in random spots, and packed ice is not next to ice, and GAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHADKFJALKDFJ AKL;DFSJAL;KFJA DLS;FKJ
So to create a solution, I've started to brainstorm ideas for a mod that I could make myself. Hopefully this mod can be flexible, customized, and personal to anyone who uses it.
I've called it the Creative Inventory Management Mod, and I've planned for it to have the following features:
-A complete inventory arrangement, putting blocks where they are supposed to be, grouping similar blocks together, and arranging the inventories
-An option that pulls up a menu where you can drag, adjust, and drop certain objects in certain places
-Options to create new Creative Inventory Tabs, placing whatever wherever
-Reset Options, Clear All, Defaults, etc.
-The Option to use the 1.2.5- Creative Inventory
This is what I've come up with, but now I'm stuck. I've come to you guys so you can give out suggestions and feedback, and perhaps some help as I'm new to Minecraft Modding. The questions I have are:
What are some other features I should implement? What are some I should remove?
What features would you like to see in it?
[Mod Question] Which .class/.jar files do I go into in order to create and start modding?
Hope to hear some interesting and cool ideas/help/feedback! Thanks for reading, and you guys may be the ones who test this mod first if I go along with it!
