Can't resolve hostname

Hi,

Everytime I want add a server, it says "can't resolve hostname."
But I filled in the IP correctly and I know there are more people with the same problem.
Is there an explanation for this problem and can it be fixed?
Or is there something wrong with my Minecraft/PC?

Try to reinstall your minecraft. I had the same problem but I reinstalled it and it worked.

Do you play any other servers? Do they work? Are there spaces in front of the ips? Can't resolve host name means there is something wrong with the ip.

I'm sure I filled in the IP correctly, and yes I am playing on other servers. For example another popular SG server... I really don't know what the problem could be
