Oh my goodness, you really don't play on Australian Servers. Don't judge if you haven't even played on there. If you have, we were probably all sleeping.Australian servers has less than 100 people a day so why didnt they take the Australian servers down? I hope to recieve a reply from you KRaidium.
I agree, it has about 20 people on when NORTH americans are online, I went on at 2 am and there was 300+ people on there.Oh my goodness, you really don't play on Australian Servers. Don't judge if you haven't even played on there. If you have, we were probably all sleeping.
True but, why host servers that are empty and useless so what's the point of that? There hosting servers that aren't even being played and asians are hoping for their homeland to be built again. Well this is my point of view...The thing that you guys dont understand is that mcsg can afford to have empty servers in Canada and the U.S because the servers are way cheaper. Think about it first off the U.S and Canada are very popular even if not that much people play on CA there are tons of server host and host locations that are reliable that work well and arent expensive. The AS location is very hard to get a reliable location/host that works and functions well without having to pay a fortune. People like Chad and the other admins realize the fact that there is an AS community and yes it would be nice to have some servers to play on, but looking from a buisness standpoint it is just to expensive to get a good hist or server location. Chad and the staff know that some people really want AS back its just not realistically gonna happen. If you had a servers running that were losing more money then they were making would you keep them up just to please some people? Of course not.
Last thing I wanted to point out is thwt alot of people on that list are US or EU players you have to realize the fact that they need 100+ players p,aying on the servers everyday not 100+ supporters for the servers to come back.
It sucks that AS is not around and I hope you guys will get it back but right now there its just not realistic for them to do.

^^The whole thing, in a nut shell. Solved during the first 2 days the servers were closed down in the first place. Coming from the owner from the 'ex-AS' mcsg player safe-haven. Trust me, I know where the MCGamer staff are coming from. It's highly unlikely, albeit how much I would like AS MCG to coming back, that AS MCGamer will come back.

Edit: As JoelJCE said,
"MCGamer doesn't purchase servers through shared hosting plans. Rather, they rent an entire dedicated machine (which can be upwards of $100-$200 per month depending on the machine's specs and the datacenter) and then run multiple servers from that machine. This is why you'll often see 15-20 servers all go offline at the same time on the US/CA network. One box contains multiple servers.
As for why AS had only 4 servers, I'm not certain. If those 4 servers were on a dedicated box, it probably wasn't a very powerful box, or resources were allocated on an existing box by CubedHost. I'm not certain about the configuration for AS though, it's been a while since since I've spoken to any of the developers about MCGamer's hardware."
Just because these people play on US and EU doesn't mean they live there. And also I might be able too play at least once a day soon so sign me up plz :3The thing that you guys dont understand is that mcsg can afford to have empty servers in Canada and the U.S because the servers are way cheaper.
