I thought an alt account was a backup account for a player to use to surpass a ban. Is that true or am I just stupid? Btw, you'll never see my use that old account anymore. I'm on this one full time. Does this make a difference? I really don't like being referred to as an "alt".

You're just stupid. An alt is an account that you have to get better win/loss ratio, or start fresh, or have a better username. Getting a new account to surpass a ban is ip-bannable.
