"Bad Packet ID" misconnection

Lately, upon logging into a server, a warning or alert would pop up saying Bad Packet ID. It's been happening more and more frequently. Has anyone else been having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Glitch, just try to join another server then go back to the first server. It should work, or you can try restarting Minecraft.

This is a recent glitch. Usually, if I try to connect again to the same server, it lets me in. Hope this helps.

Just connect to a live game and then try to get into the lobby again!

As stated above, all you have to do is join the server again and it will work. Not sure what the error is, but you just have to join again and it will work.
