You should host them in Perth, because then everyone from Singapore to Sydney has an equal lag/connection speed. Except people who live in Perth, that's just good for them!

Since it's already back from the dead, I say instead of 300 wins 150-200 wins. If you have it at 300 wins, the servers will never fill up. I know there are more than 120 people with 300 wins, but the chances are low that there will always be that many online to fill the servers up. So with a smaller amount, I think this idea could turn out well. But it's also a bit unfair to the people with less than that many wins because they don't have access to as many servers as the better players do.
