If you want to find Excvation Zero and Enchanted forest, they were in the top 25 of the planetminecraft MCSG map contest. So just go there and find them, they have screenies on there.
Mortal Skies was meant to be added I heard but something happened with it. I can't quite say though because I don't want to get in trouble.

The map committee only does that if they are seriously underplayed. For example when Boombeard's Battle came onto the server EVERYBODY played on it for the first week since it was new. After, it was almost never voted again. It has to be really drastic in order for the map to be taken of the servers.
