Im just wondering how do you manage to keep your points that high since if you die once you lose like 20-30?

Step 1 : Don't die
Step 2 : Win the game
step 3 : Go Rambo and kill every noob you see ( will earn you 20 points atleast )
step 4 : IF you are going to die quickly suicide ( /suicide ) So you won't lose points

Basically, yes.

Edit: I should clarify: Or at least kill enough people to make up for it when you finally die. I'm not an expert on the point system, but for example, a guy with 1000 points (-50 when dead) would have to kill 10 people with 100 points (-5 when dead) to make up for it if he dies that game. So basically people with a lot of points are people who are able to either A. Get enough kills in a round to make up for a death or B. Win the round, in over half of the total games played.

I do have a lot of victories, but I cant seem to get my bounty up with the other top 10 players.
