Mouse macros

Are mouse macros allowed. What I mean by this is macros that come with the mouse through software like razer synapse, so the actual minecraft client is not hacked at all?

Yes, any configurable buttons on your mouse are allowed.

I assume they are just talking about buttons on the side of your mouse that when pressed execute a key. Basically keyboard shortcuts on the side of your mouse.

To answer your question, yes. You may use the macros on your mouse to bind a sequence to your mouse. But there is one condition, you may not use it to spam a message in chat as that would be breaking the rules.
