Server Glitch...?

So this happened... This was in a 24 game... and I'm slightly confused as to why there were (1). So many people were on the server and (2). All the white-glitches names... >.<

Sorry if this has already been posted and if I should have posted else where..

I believe it's when something happens with players not being logged out correctly. They will count towards the player count in-game, so it won't go to DeathMatch until the timer runs out or there are only 3 people still "ingame", including the white-named players. But as they can't kill anyone, the player with more kills (Namely, the last regular player) will win... unless they don't kill anyone .-.
