Problem playing on the MCSG servers.

The problem I have when attempting to play MCSG is the fact that everything freezes then continues again. In other words, a minor lag occurs for a few seconds and unlags again. This happens ALL the time and about every 20 seconds or so.

I do not think it's a problem with my internet because I have had the same internet ever since I started playing MCSG and no problems occured until now yet my internet connection, speed, etc. remains the same as it was before this problem began.

Could it be my ping to the servers? My connection to the servers? It also is not the servers itself because it remains completely fine for other people from what I have seen.

I play on the US servers and I live in California. (If this happens to be relevant to any problem I am having)

If anyone could provide some tech support or help in any way would be nice.

I no longer can play due to this problem and I would love to come back to play again as old times. Thank you all for taking the time to read through this and provide any help or assistance.

To check your ping to the US servers do the following: (This'll help establish your issue.)
1. Click on the start button, then type in cmd.
2. type in ping us1.mcsg.in
3. Wait for a reply from all packets sent, then under Approximate round trips in milliseconds there will be Maximum, minimum and average. Tell us your average. For example, my ping to the AU network is 53ms.

The servers have been lagging quite a bit lately, but not as much as what you said.

Try playing CA and see if you lag.

I did as you said, after I bring up the Command Prompt (cmd), I typed in "ping us1.mcsg.in" into the cmd and it says that it is not recorgnized.

Is it just MCSG? If you're fine on other servers it's most likely due to the fact that MCSG's servers are sometimes over capacity, as said on the front page.

No, it's not just MCSG, I just checked other servers and they're the same way. But I am unable to check my ping to the servers. For some reason I type in ping us1.mcsg.in into the cmd but it says it's not recognized.

That's odd.... I don't know how to help you, but it's something to do with the connection between your router and computer.

I also live in California and curious what could be going on. Does this freezing happen all the time or during peak times? Does this happen in the hub or in-game servers?

yeah the servers have been doing this lately. Just freezing for sometimes up to 15-20 seconds then fixing itself. Most of the time its just a few seconds tho. It can get very frustrating when in the middle of fighting someone.

Also, you will randomly get kicked when about to fight someone. It will automatically send you back to the hub without any reasoning. It's like I did /hub without actually doing it lol.
