I'm New - Have Some Questions

Heeello, everybody!
I am definitely now new to playing MCSG, but this is one of my first times on the forums. I have a couple of questions I'm hoping to get answered.
First of all, are posts like this spam? I'm not sure what is considered spam threads and what aren't.
Secondly, is it discouraged to advertise things such as You Tube channels on the forums though they mostly have MCSG vids? Or perhaps moderators don't prefer you to upload videos with your posts possibly?
Next, I'm having trouble uploading a video of a possible hacker when I want to make an abuse report. With any casual reply to a thread I make, it gives me the option of uploading a file. Even now it has a button giving me that option. But when I want to send an abuse report, the button that is supposed to be in between the two buttons that say "Create Thread" and "Preview..." isn't there! Can someone please help me or explain why?
Lastly, when I do have the option of "Upload a File", it's not allowing me to put up all of the videos I edit. I use iMovie. Can someone, once again, attempt to explain to me why I cannot upload videos?

Make a report abuse here, use the template that is on top of the page.

1. Posts like this are never spam, if you got a qeustion just make a thread about it and there will be enough people to help you out.

2. You can upload videos to youtube and post them at the media section of the website, which is located here :
   http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/media/
   
   You are allowed to advertise your channel aslong as it has MCSG content in it.
   
   
3. Just click on the media button in the text editor to add a video, this will let you link to a youtube video. ( Which mean you'll have to upload it to youtube first. )
