Yes. You first get a kick and then get banned. Now, you will only get banned if you bypass the profanity filter. Same goes with a kick. If you casually swear, but didn't bypass the filter nothing will happen.

I think that there should be a Ban Exception part to the moderator application for minor band eg. spamming, block glitching, which must be a more rigorous process than age exception. Obviously your friends should of been more careful not too break the rules, it is entirely their fault. It would be a large and tedious process to unban people for minor offences, and really that would be defeating the purpose of their punishment. If they believe that they have been banned unfairly then ask them to post a ban dispute here.

1 hour bans have no effect on your application as there is no evidence involved in 1 hour bans. so your good to go if thats all you got.

So what bout my Mod demotion/ban - Could I come back? the evidence given (I know there was more.) Was a Skype message; so I got unbanned. Just wondering cool to think about.

Think of everyone who doesn't have a ban. When you (general) got banned, they were more mature than you. If you mature, but they also mature, they are still more mature and responsible than you and therefore a better moderator candidate.

I'm going to say no to this idea. If someone broke the rules, then they broke them and will consequently be punished. If someone broke the rules than, we shouldn't have them on our staff team. We don't want staff who break the very rules that they're supposed to be enforcing. I'm assuming that you'll say something along the lines of "But they've matured in that time!" I'm sure that some of them have, but there are just as many who haven't matured in that time. I know there are ways of being able to get mod with bans, but I don't know them.

My only tempban was for having BSM.
I forgot that I had it, because I was using it on Roxbot, where it's allowed.
Stuff like this should be cleared...

I believe that there should be some sort of application you can fill out to get the ban removed from your record. For example back in the day when I was a nub, I never read the rules and didn't know BSM wasn't allowed, because I played on a different server where it was. So this ruins my chance of ever becoming a moderator sadly. I understand where I screwed up, but I believe most people who have had these bans have learned their lesson, and there should be some sort of essay as to why you believe your ban should be removed from your record. I'm not sure if this would work in all cases, but just a thought.
