Thats the sad thing it's a pay to win if you donate and get bonus stuff what about the normal people not able to donate? so what for them? i think normal players should be able to get some type of bonus even if it is for just one game.

Any server can grow even if it's the biggest. Also by getting 1 chest how do you need no knowledge of the map, at most you can get an iron armour and maybe a sword.
And with the potions, the opposing player can easily flee until his effects are gone. Like I said they aren't that strong. Also remember it's ONCE per day.

Well the top server networks don't use this method of publicity, so it's obviously not that effective.

Maybe they haven't tried it yet. People haven't heard of this server, but they browse PMC and other listings, imagine the feedback and all of the new unique players joining. it will be great!

Why not 10 bounty/points for each time you upvote the server, and 15 points for every other people you refer to vote? This wouldn't change the game much, but would give a little bonus to people who decided to vote. Also, people who b*tch about not having any points would be able to do this, and it would make them much happier.

Out on the internet, there are many websites which are dedicated to listing MC servers (for people who are looking for one) to play on. Planet Minecraft is one example. Some servers can link bonuses to people who vote up (or 'like' or '+1') the server, kind of like when there are competitions on Facebook, where you need to 'like' them to win.

The idea is, that people who 'like' MCGamer on a server listing website will help MCGamer gain popularity, and in turn get a small bonus for it.

I believe that there should be like, a 100 bounty, But no potion effect, the reason I like MCSG is because it's the only survival games server that is closest to vanilla. I hate the servers where you get donator kits or potions simply because it's unfair. I thing in the /stats there should bge a counter to see how often the player has voted... I like your idea, Just not all of your points.

So by getting an extra chest, it's a vote to win?
So by recieving a few extra points a day, they become flooded with points?
Because they get a potion effect for less than 15 seconds, they kill everyone in the game?

He did, and he is right. A tier 3 chest is too op. A potion effect is too op. The best reward for this that doesn't ruin the game is an amount of amounts that doesn't exceed 200. Anyway, MCSG is much too popular to go down to the level of giving rewards to people for a bit advertisement.
