Why is Better Sprint Mod not allowed....

Hi, my name is Georgewaffle and I want to ask why better sprint mod is not allowed in the server. If the answer is,"It gives players an unfair advantage," then you're being stupid. If it does give an unfair advantage, then don't allow Minecraft 1.7 on the server. Minecraft 1.7 has better sprint mod integrated in it. I'd use 1.7 but there isn't an optifine for 1.7 yet. I like to use better sprint mod because it is 1.6.4 and there is optifine for 1.6.4. I really need optifine because my pc is super laggy. So please allow Better Sprint Mod on the server. It is integrated into 1.7. If it does give an advantage to players with it, then ban Minecraft 1.7 as well. If better sprint mod is not allowed, then 1.7 should not be allowed either.

First of all, 1.7 does NOT have BSM integrated. BSM is more than just a key to hold down that makes you sprint. Second of all, I also play on 1.6.4 to use optifine, but I don't use BSM. Just use the old Double tap method. It's really not that difficult. Finally, I'd just like to point out that your entire argument revolves around your assumption that BSM is integrated into 1.7. As stated above, this is not true. For example, BSM also allows a user to sprint in directions other than forward.

1) BSM is in 1.7, the only difference is that with 1.7, you have to continually hold the key down in order to sprint. Of course, the exact same thing can be achieved if the user sets sprint to caps lock on a Mac or puts a weight on their sprint key.
2) BSM does not allow sprint in all directions on multiplayer.
