BSM allowed?

I've been wondering if BSM will ever be allowed on MCSG. I don't know if people noticed, but a large amount of people are leaving MCSG because of it. (Many of my Skype friends, and IRL friends) It's been a while since Chad, or any one of the Staff have said anything about the controversial topic; BSM. So many people have been ranting about the use of BSM since the new 1.7 update for mine craft came out. There's been an astonishing increase of threads revolving around the fact that BSM should be allowed. As a result, all this ranting has caused MCSG to make this new system that automatically bans the player. Now, personally, I think that BSM should be allowed, but this is not what this thread is for. I am here to ask for one thing; Is there a final judgement for BSM, and its use in MCSG? I know that its not allowed right now, and many staff members say it will never be allowed, but isn't eventually going to get to far? With people using 1.6.4 for non-lag gameplay, they have a disadvantage. For people like me, playing on 1.7.2 without OF can really affect gameplay on any servers- even SinglePlayer. 1.7 Sprint can drastically give them an advantage as appose to the non-update users. Eventually BSM will have to be allowed. It may not be a big deal now, but think what it will do later. Servers like the HIVE allow BSM. I know people think its dumb because some people can't install it or, they don't know how, but isn't that what the internet is for? To look at tutorials and learn new things? Honestly, I believe if BSM was allowed, about 95% of all the thousands, and thousands of players out there would install it. Sources such as youtube, google, and ask are there to well, help you with things. When I play on the Hive, theres many BSM users there since its allowed, which is why MCSG should have it. I can guarantee around 80% of players out there use BSM, and know well enough how to install it. Now, the other 20% that don't have BSM installed, and play on the Hive, don't complain. They just play the game to have fun- Isn't that was MCSG is for? For entertainment, and if people aren't bothered by it, then why should we be? BSM does give a very huge advantage, but if everyone was on equal playing ground, then it would be more fast-paced games. I think that maybe you should just risk it. Make a Poll on McGamer, internationally, to all the servers. Ask them this, Would you like to see BSM allowed on MCSG? Obviously, if people say yes. It should be allowed, if not, then it proves that most of the MCSG community doesn't want BSM on the servers. This will finally prove a point on wether or not BSM can be used on MCSG. This poll will decide for good if the community likes BSM on the servers or not. Many if the staff keep saying that the forum community is only about 2% of the entire MCGamer community, thus why adding this poll to all the servers will decide for good if the very controversial topic, BSM on MCSG, should be allowed, or not allowed on MCGamer.

Yup, so it seems that Better sprint won't even work, so no bother trying, and to be honest, might as well just use the sprint key on 1.7.

And people have said:

But the hive allows BSM!

or

Something something, lag, something something, internet, something, BSM

on numerous occasions and have been pretty much straight up shot down every time.

Love that you explained your position and even setup a pole for this topic, but please look around the forums and see what has been said about the topic already.
But it seems pretty obvious that, at least with how things are now, MCSG is dead set on not allowing BSM, they've been saying no all this time and they even came up with a way to detect it and kick you for it.

Bsm I still not allowed for the sole fact that it has its advantages against the 1.7.2 sprint binding.

I think the final judgement was made when they devised a way to have server detect and autoban you for using it, which pretty much says it all.

So on the one hand, we have 1.6.4 players not being able to use the sprint key and being able to use optifine.
On the other hand we have 1.7.2 players being able to use the sprint key and not being able to use optifine.

I'll just like to point out that this whole, "We're allowing two different versions on our servers" is temporary and isn't ideal. Once they can switch over to 1.7 full time (When 1.7 releases for Bukkit then/or when Spigot 1.7 is out) and when optifine for 1.7 is out, this argument won't work.
