The "Veteran" Rank

Now I know some of you may be thinking that, in the Feature Suggestions, there may be a few to many suggestions for another type of rank in MCSG. No offense to the people but I thought none of them were great, or just did not make sense (except the MVP Rank I thought that was a good idea).

But complaining is not the point of this thread. I was thinking there could be a "Veteran" Rank for anybody who has been playing MCSG since the beginning of MCSG V1. I would say anyone, in my eyes, would be a "Veteran" if they have played since the beginning of MCSG to about the end of August 2012 (YES 2012). This would show that these people love MCSG and are not getting tired of it after a year or so. But this does not have to apply only to people who have been around since 2012, I was thinking it could apply to BIG ACTIVE MEMBERS on the forums such as HalfSquirrel , RC_4777 , Zeno , ToeKnee , Yin etc. This shows that even though they aren't donors (some of them may be donors and I just haven't noticed) they are still loyal to these servers, and its community. In my opinion, I'm trying to sound not biased at all, I am pretty loyal to this community. I have tried becoming a moderator plenty of times (and failed of course), and I will probably buy Diamond Donor later on this month (but I won't if this rank actually gets accepted )! Anyway thanks for taking the time to read this

We don't say OP on here, too many people that don't know what it means. Most people here don't even know /b/...

But I think it's a cool idea, I'd personally be a veteran since I've started in beta.

2. This is a thread aimed towards veterans; isn't it likely that veterans who also have forum accounts would mostly know what OP means?

I don't think it's a good idea. Although it's great to be a veteran, we don't need any special rank That would also just be really annoying, and even unfair to normal members. It would be annoying to constantly have to answer questions about the rank, useless to make the rank, and assuming this rank can kick because you said you wouldn't donate if you got it, that wouldn't be fair to normal members because we get a better rank just for having been around longer.

This has been suggested many times before, and it's always been shut down in the end. They won't be making any veteran ranks in the near future.

I didn't say you can't say it. I meant that most people here have no idea about the good things on the internet.

I don't refuse to use it, all I said was that you shouldn't use it as most people will ask what it means.
