This would not be an unfair disadvantage for other people in team as they usually use things like Skype or Teamspeak and it would not be instant when giving people directions as you need to type so the chances that they will have an advantage over another player is low unless they are camping.

Simply; No, we can't and wont give specs the ability to whisper to the tributes. It doesnt matter that most teams are on TS or Skype, not all of them are. Even mods can't whisper to certain tributes, and we can only talk to everyone, and were not allowed to use that very often either.

You haven't really given a reason for this not to go through, you have only really negated the idea which is unfair. Please give a reason.

Its unfair, 1. you tell a guy not to go to spawn cause there is another with beter armor then him. 2. You can tell them were chests are and i can give more and more reasons..

Then also download teamspeak or team with a guy with skype..

There is also a Clan/Team thread so maybe you can apply for one of these.. but Whisper cmd as spectator is not gonna happen!

The thing is, I don't want to turn this into an argument but I believe voice teams already have a big advantage over everyone else and not everyone are willing, or able to talk via voice communication. Giving the option to whisper just gives them the same options as a voice communication team.

Look they have given their answer so stop spamming the thread begging for something to which they have already said no. They may believe that communication between specs and tributes is wrong but that doesn't mean they can stop it. face it they aren't doing it

I'm just expressing my opinion and giving my thoughts on everyone else's opinion, I don't think that can be considered spam and moderators aren't involved in the making of the game, they are only involved in the running of the game and site so no, they haven't given their answer.

I know they can't stop people from abusing voice communication and they don't support it but I don't see the point of making this voice communication exclusive.

Here is a reason, someone that just died to a player, will be a SPEC and abuse the player that killed him/her and moderators and other players will not be able to see this happening.

This is a fair point, but wouldn't that be an uncommon problem and could easily be dealt with by sending screen shots to a mod
