Armor for donors (inside the game lobby)

This is a fun, miscellaneous suggestion. My idea is that if you are a donator and you enter a game, you will be given corresponding armor at the lobby. An iron donor will get iron armor, a gold donor will get gold armor, an a diamond donor will be given diamond armor! Sound cool?

P.S. hope this doesn't cause some glitch, like a diamond armor glitch... oh the horror...

Cool and interesting, but some people like to show off there skins in the lobby. And it seems not as important to implement as other things, seeing as this is a minor thing only used for 2 minutes.

But those who have the skins that are regular players, could be seen as regular players when joining games, or by accessing their records.

I understand, I mean it can be done as long as there is an option to take the armor off. I think that would better since you could keep only certain parts on or off, in other words, pimp yourself out. I approve.

possibly, but I find it unlikely, as it is a small suggestion. and it most peeps who play MCSG I find are mature, so I don't think peeps would be jealous of the armor.

Not a bad idea, perhaps it could be made so that you can type /armor when you join and it would give you the armor corresponding to your donor. That would allow people to show off their skin if they want to, and it would also be nice if they could remove parts of it and keep other parts on.

Ah. This closely ties in with the reasoning of why we don't have colored names in the player list in lobbies. It prevents targeting. Basically, if we had people running around in armor, everybody would know who to go after. Likewise, if someone were to hit the tab key, or do /list, they would be able to see who to target, as they stand out.

As for the idea itself, I quite like it! It would be a nice little feature. :3

It's a decent suggestion, but it's so minor that I think it would be trivial at best to implement it. There are already different colors for names, why would you NEED the armor?

I actually believe it was something to do with MC itself - a certain colour make take up more than 1 digit even though 1 digit has been put in. I'm pretty sure Forairan explained it, saying that if his name was in a certain way or something, it would spell 'For'. Can't really remember though
