Its on topic, and its a map, pointless to tell people not to necro it >.>
The discussion value in this thread has been sucked numb, there's no point in saying anything more than: "Oh yay this thread's awesome!"

Since there's no sign of bringing Hungry Hills back, and this thread has been dead for like 3 months, it's a necro that's useless. Sorry.

It's someones map, it would be pointless to lock it because of necro, what if the map committee were to look for maps on the forums? We would casually skip over any locked threads because that mainly means the maker doesn't want the map public or doesn't want to give us the map, and also, just because it's old, doesn't mean new players won't give feedback on it.

End of conversation.

Hey moderator, here's a line from the rules that you're supposed to enforce:
4. Do not grave-dig/necropost: Posting on old threads that serve no purpose is unnecessary and gives people unneeded alerts.

  • If a thread has gone one month without any new posts, it is considered old and posting on it will be considered necroposting.
  • If the thread is still relevant and important, necroposting on it is allowed.
  • If the thread has a new update, necroposting on it is allowed.
- This thread has gone one month without any new posts. Check.
- As much as Hungry Hills as tried to been revived, there has been, like I said no sign of it returning, and there's no point in mourning over a map that's dead. MCSG may have locked the thread, and if some map committee wanted to check the map out, they can go to an alternate link right here:

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1254679-hungryhills-hunger-game-map-wip/

Thread's got no point. Check.

- Do you see any updates anywhere? Nah, I don't think so. Check.

Following things exactly by the book isn't always useful. In an old episode of Andy Griffith, everyone in town gets arrested when it goes by the book.

If I watched Andy Griffith, I think I'd understand what you're trying to talk about...

What I'm trying to say is that there really is no point in bringing this thread back. Lock it, or let it die again if it truly, truly has no reason to be locked, cause this thread just has no discussion left in it.

100's of the threads have been locked like this one, but apparently since it's Hungry Hills it deserves special treatment. Come on now.
