Since a lot of new moderators are coming into the mcsg community i think it would only be appropriate for them to have training. Now I'm not raging but, I was just on a server where people were spamming, typing in all caps, and using profanity when a mod was on. Now it was in the 1:00 minutes before the game started, and the moderator might not have had the spam rules on copy-paste but, i saw no effort to type or anything. So my suggestion to help new moderators to become as great as the ones we had before (not saying there's anything wrong with the ones we have now) I suggest they go through "training" or just have some sort of guidelines. Now i do have screenshots of that scene but, i choose not to post them. If someone important wants to see them just PM me. I just don't want to attack the moderator that was on.

I kind of agree but that would take some serious time on the admins part I think when you get interviewed you get asked a couple of questions. Or I think they put you in a situation and you have to answer what you would do. But yah I have seen some "new" mods already just taking their job a little easier then they should. Not saying anyone but please if your a mod, take your job completely serious if someone spams even twice say something if someone swears once say something. Mods are what make the community a better place for players and a lot more fun.

Most of the moderators on the server already have plenty of experience moderating on other servers and websites. I've never noticed a Moderator ignore someone who is obviously breaking the rules, so perhaps the mod was just AFK?

Mods wouldn't be hired unless they had experience moderating, I would hope :p

It is true, for some of the newer mods we have not had the same time to train them as others. I am planing to do a big session with them soon, so all of this trouble will be over.

Sometimes the mod could be busy on a diferent window or AFK. Sometimes I miss people breaking the rules in the chat and then see it when I review my footage. :p

I would hope all moderators always enfore the rules, becasue I do.
