Hello, this is just a suggestion for the ban procedure MCSG has integrated.

I suggest that hackers get no warning ban, and get perma-banned on their first ban.

Let's face it, about 60% of hackers go back to hacking after their first ban. I think it would be for the best if this was proposed and accepted.

I'd like to hear your thoughts, guys. What do you think?

No, if somebody was unfairly banned and failed their ban appeal for some reason, then they wouldn't get to play at all any more. This would really stink for them

Just adding, spammers//any other rulebreakers still get a warning ban. Only hacking get a one-strike system.

If you're hacking, you know you're doing something wrong. Also, 60%? Where are you getting these facts?

It's a rough estimate. I never said it was exact, but I always see hackers who were previously banned.

Exactly. If they know they're doing something wrong, why unban them?

My bad, read the thread wrong.

What I dont like, hackers get unbanned... they clearly broke the rules, most of the time they get told not to by people yet they still go and then get banned then unbanned, where is the sense in thatr

I don't know how I feel about this. As much as I hate hackers since they make the game unfair for everyone else, you can't forget that we're all human. Many of the hackers are just immature kids (10-14 years old) who want to get better without proper effort. It is easy to forget that hackers are like you and me, and they're not some cynical mastermind dedicated to making everyone's day worse. A ban is a way for them to understand that what they're doing is wrong, but hopefully to learn from their mistakes. A second chance is the route to improving someone's nature, to teach kids about trust and expectations.
