Hello my sweet lovely Friends and not Friends!
What about adding a command [ /map info { map name ( who is shown in the voting system ) } | /mapinfo {mapname}
after you've done the comment it will shows you the forum link to the topic of the thread from the map so that you can see some pic's and maybe a trailer if something like this has been made.
thats all :) hope you like that idea

Sure, I like the idea. Can be especially useful for newer players or when a new map comes out. I think the chat command /map info <map #> would be the most user friendly, then the client would tell the player in chat a short preprogrammed blurb about the map with a link to the forums.

I think there is already a command that "kind" of details that information.
By doing "/Info" it tells you the map playing, the map creator and much more stuff.

Yes it tells you the map you are currently playing if you are ingame, but i mean it so that you can watch which map yoou want to vote in the lobby
Too big thing to do, with such little point.
Dude i began to program with java and i am pretty sure that adding a command with that little response is not very difficult or a very big part of work

For that reason the command "/v" exists.

This is just combining /v and /i, it really isn't needed.
