Greetings brethren,

I am here with a request (mainly suggestion) regarding the MCSG forums. Basically it is allowing several people thread ownership and permission(s.) I believe if this where implemented it would make it a lot easier to manage threads that need updating from time to time, like clan threads, WIP map threads and so on. I have had a few instances were I have wanted to update a thread related to a clan that I am associated with, but have been unable to as I am not the creator of the thread.

Although this may only be appealing to a small audience it would release a great hassle to those people who, as I said before need to make constant updates on a thread. I't would be extremely easy to, simply click the add owner(s) button next to the report button, and entering someones forum name and agree to the process by clicking accept.

Well there you are brethren, I apologize for putting together a pretty sloppy thread but I believe it will get the point across to those of interest.

Farewell,
Batman.

I agree. But this will then result in briefing of other people's clan pages ect.

No, unless you're willing to (or find someone) to code a plugin for xenforo.

An alternative that I suggest, is to create the thread with the original post, then have who ever you want to share the thread with post "Reserved" on the first page of the thread so that any of those people can edit their posts with it being shown right under the "thread owner"'s.

Interesting alternative, If my suggestion is not something that can be done, your idea would defiantly work out and would result in the same positive outcome.

Good idea but I don't think it's possible as MCSG uses XenForo.

I could imagine how this could go wrong:
Player joins clan
Player eventually gains trust and makes his way and gets permissions
Player gets kicked out of the clan
Player deletes their whole clan page

That could be avoided by removing privileges before you kick them. And only mods can delete threads and staff can't be in clans.

I'd love to have this but sadly it's probably impossible...
