This 'solution' would defiantly not work, as Ninga said just because people have money to pay for donor does not make them mature and respectful.

The main problem here is many new players in our system don't actually know the rules or how to play. By removing text for non donators we would simply loose players due to the fact we can't tell them how to play or enjoy MCSG.

I dont think new players should be silenced but maybe some kind of chat limit, like you can only type every 20 seconds if you arent a donor, would limit a small amount of the spam but they could still chat

I believe that this suggestion isn't trying to imply that donators never break rules and normal members always do, but instead it is trying to show us that the staff members do receive a large amount of work in moderating the hub and to have less people constantly talking and breaking rules makes it a lot easier. It'll reduce the workload and make it a lot easier to deal with for the staff whilst also giving another reason for players to donate, meaning:
-We expect more people to donate.
> Generates money for MCSG.
>Chad uses goodies to make MCSG better.

Basically, it'll reduce the workload in the hub for staff and make talking to people a lot more enjoyable; looking at that chat example in the first post gives me a headache. Adding to that, it gives users another reason to donate, which will help MCSG. Finally, I'm sure it will also reduce the amount of lag in the hub.

Also, it's not like people can't talk in the lobby mode; any questions and/or communication that non-donators want to participate in can be done there.

I think instead of this, because this doesn't allow people to chat in the hub, which I wouldn't like, we could have a private donor chat. So donors could turn off the normal chat and enter their private chat and just talk among the donors.

I think he is kind of talking about a thing like the Hive. The Non-Donors can't talk or see people, and there is a quote on quote 'Donor Hub'.
Why did you say quote on quote and then actually put quotes?
