By now we all know that those who donate get a bounty boost once a month, but it's honestly not worth the money. I get about 2k a day which I usually end up bountying all on IAmHapppy when I feel like ruining his day, so what's the point of this measly 100 I get each month?

Three solutions I cam up with:

Solution one: Up the number of times bounty is received, perhaps once per day which is much more reasonable for Iron donors and for Gold and Diamond donors who put so much money into running the servers.

Solution two: Up number of Bounty received each month, possibly 1000, still pretty lame, but a nice bonus every month.

Solution three: Bounty cap. Varying for each donor a cap of bounty points is set for the 5% taken away each death, which can only be lost through bountying and sponsoring.

Example: An Diamond donor has a 2,000 bounty cap, their bounty is 3,000; Upon death 50 points are lost.

I just think at this point, bounty points either should be taken out completely or spiced up a bit because they really aren't fair in proportion to the actual money donated.

I like the idea of a bounty cap, just because I suck at keeping my points up. Sounds pretty complicated though xD

To be honest, myself and (I think) most donors included, we donate to get priority, and to help keep MCSG running, not for the points. I don't even think it's necessary to get points when you buy donor, but it's a nice bonus.

Yeah this is the first time I've heard someone say they do it for the points.

The bounty losing cap wouldn't work. It means that as long as you earned over 50 points a game, your points would never lower, meaning you could get 100000 bounty pretty easily. I agree with the other ideas though:) The donor perks do not cover the cost of donating right now.

Personally I wouldn't donate more than 5 bucks a month, so untill that becomes an option, no donor perk for me.

The point I'm trying to make is that the point bonus is useless at the moment. So it should be changed or scrapped.

It's really not useless. If you have points, and for some reason they matter to you, every little bit helps. If you killed a guy and got 100 points, would you complain? No. They just give you those points as a bonus. It's not really what the desirable part of donor is, it's just a neat little bonus.
