Tournament - the best of the best

Ok so it starts off with 24 mcsg games. There will be seeds. (Like in tennis) so the best players don`t get knocked out quickly. Then the last 2 alive go on to the next round. So then there's another 2 games in which the last 12 in each game go on to the final 24 player match. The winner will get 1000 points and 5 wins added. this happens every 2 months. They could get put in the winners hall of fame and after a year the winners of all the continents (us,au,eu) Canada would count as US. Then 6 wild cards picked randomly out of the Top 100 in the world to compete . The winner of that would get VIP.

This has been suggested before, but likely won't be implemented. It would cause people to wonder how they would loose, it would be a good opportunity for hackers, and would be a lot to work with.

But like 3 hours after me? Like come on. No because there's a lot of competitive mods who would play, if people hack, they get banned. It would only be once a year so there would always be mods.

For the record, dude, you're being kind of an arse. Yes, he had an idea similar to yours, but no, he didn't copy you. If all the repeated feature suggestions (i.e. "go back to MCSGv1," "add less food," "don't add T3 chests," etc...) were accused of copying another thread, the community would be too afraid to make any suggestions, even if they're good ones.

As for the threads, this one is better by far as compared to the one you posted. In this thread, Pendle introduced a system for tournaments, with a plan for the future, and an acceptable prize. Whereas on your thread, you include very little information. Pendle has the better thread, hands down. Next time you wish to accuse someone of "stealing your idea," don't do it. You can mention that you had a similar idea, but don't outright accuse them of stealing it.

Well, despite that a lot of hackers would be banned, there will still be some. Either way, the system would be hard to set up. The developers have a lot to work with, and unless this is brought into consideration of the admins, devs, or even Chad, I doubt this would be implemented. I would love to see this, but I doubt it will.

If your idea was vague and made for people to elaborate on, then please don't hate on someone who elaborates on your vauge 'idea' that I think just about every long-term MCSG player has thought about.

If you disagree with the ideas, say why and what could be changed to be improved.

I hope you realise that the winner would have to fight off 576 other players in three separate games to win the title?

you'll have to play 3 games. The first game will be hard enough considering the best people will enter this. Then in the second game, you'll have to compete against the best of them to get through to the final round in which the best 24 players out of 576 will come together. Then if you win that i think you deserve some kind of award...

Such a condescending troll. The reward is the donar/vip/hall of fame. I liked the hall of fame idea, but throwing on 5 wins is pointless and dumb especially since they didn't win five games. I know that people have similar ideas, but posting them literally right after one another is stupid. You just love to fight for the sake of fighting, so annoying.
