Teaming Servers?

Teaming is a fun way to play with friends and clan mates, but it can often ruin the game for others. A team of 4 is pretty much unbeatable and can quite often ruin the survival games experience for the other 20 players.

I came on tonight because I wanted to play some MCSG, I played in 3 games and ran into 3 separate teams of 4 (not kidding, one team was in two of my games and there were 2 teams of 4 in one game as well). Personally this really wrecked my playing experience for the night, I stood little chance on all of the games, and I leave dejected and I don't really want to play mcsg at the moment. Before I get into this, I have no problems with smaller teams, but I think 4 is where a limit should be drawn. Teams are can be taken down with tactics, but you are pretty hard pressed to kill 4 people who are playing together.

My proposal is not that teaming be banned, but that there are a specific list of servers in which teaming would be more accepted, or even a list of servers where there were team survival games. I understand that this is a little far fetched, but quite honestly if I were a new player tonight I would probably not come back to these servers because I had a terrible experience.

Well, that is all and I hope that you consider my proposal, and the other 20 some players in the game when you team.

This wouldn't prevent teaming from the regular servers. Also, teams wouldn't want to play on the team servers: their chances of winning are slashed due to other teams.

I actually think this would be a great idea but the teamers probably won't go on seperate servers for this

I was thinking yes, but then I realised, no. The reason being its just apart of the game and what happens, it is you who decides the outcome. But like you also mentioned it is a team of 4 which'd be quite unbeatable.

Even if team servers were invented, it wouldn't prevent teaming on the original servers, it's just something we have to put up with it.

Sometimes going solo is more fun and certainly is more of a challenge.

It wouldn't be possible though? People wouldn't spend time to add a bunch of more servers just to make the game harder for them.

I think this is a good ide but instead of making it so that there are servers dedicated for teams, making servers dedicated for solo-players. It would be easier to control for the mods if there are only a few servers like that.
But you would still have the problem that there always needs to be a mod in those servers, maybe those servers should be donor only... maybe that will work.

It isn't fun, I could have a lobby team of 4 in every server that I wanted to. The game is probably a little different for you because you have a horde of fans following you. You're right, I could team but my teammate and I could probably make it to deathmatch 75% of the time, boring as hell.

I made this thread for a couple reasons, to sway teams to play on different servers and also to provide teams with a challenge.

Well you are right, teams of 4 can still be killed, I have done it a couple times. I find it quite funny when a team is chasing you in the water and they want you to stop running, quite comical. Take a step back and realize that the average player has absolutely no chance against this team.

My mistake, I know devin and joey usually have hordes following them. I get targeted too, you think people don't recognize me? Not to the extent of you though.
