A suggestion regarding teams at deathmatch

In my experience with MCSG, I've come across various "team" encounters that I've been able to get out of, but have not been so lucky with others. In the instances where I normally die, they are usually due to a 2 v. 1 at deathmatch. This is not a post raging about teams, but a post that can hopefully be deemed as a good suggestion for future MCSG deathmatches. With that said, I would like MCSG to transition from a 3-tribute deathmatch to a 4-tribute one. This would provide many benefits for the average player. First, it would give the opportunity for non-teamed players to rally against the 2 man team creating FAIR fights. Second, it would (in most cases) cut down the game time. Nobody likes to sit around waiting for 1 person to die to force deathmatch, especially when it's a team that is waiting. I already know what some of you are thinking: "Why don't you just team with someone?". I have teamed on various occasions, but I also think it's unfair for 2 people to fight one person, which is why I usually opt to 1 v. 1 them. I am aware that other servers have 4 person deathmatches and I don't understand why MCSG doesn't follow suit. Was this once an option that went terribly wrong?

Furthermore, I think this would make an excellent /poll question on the servers. I am also very interested what others think about this topic, so sound off in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

Nah, because 4 remaining tributes would result in even shorter games.
Also, what if the remaining players were a 3 player team vs one poor sod? It would be even worse in that regard.
Sorry for shooting the idea down like that though, I don't mean to come off as rude :p

You say how people don't like waiting for 1 person to die will eventually people will be annoyed when there is 5 left.

What about when Deathmatches only had 2 people? Those were the real days. There is no reason the amount of people in deathmatch should keep going up.

This has been suggested multiple times and declined every time, I'm requesting for a lock with report right after this I type this.

I was going to mention what it was like back in the old days, with 2 man deathmatches.
I preferred it that way personally.

I understand this. But it's easier to find 1 person out of 5 than 1 person out of 4. I guess I didn't realize this was suggested before, but I still stand behind the idea.

This feature has been requested many times and denied many times :/. Sorry! You can, however, start a discussion about it in the Survival Games Discussions forum.
