Unbalanced Point System?

I noticed today that my score is 1. Which I deem as unfair. A score that low should not be normal. Especially when some people decide their teams based on other's scores. If you die in a game you lose 5 points. If you kill someone in a game its 5 points. So in basic math if you don't kill 1+ people per match. You are in the negative for that match. And being that people are more easily going to die than kill someone. You may play 3 matches and not kill a single person. Making you -15 just like that. In the beginning of a match 5 people die to the guy who gets the sword. So they're set, but those 5 people, just like that are -5 points. And say that happens to them ALL the time. They'll be at my score in no time. My point is that people will most likely die before they can get a kill for that match. So I think that the death should be 5 points. While the killing someone should be 10 points. So that at least gives people 2 chances to kill 1 person before they are in the negative.

I think that if there is any issue, it is the set point loss after you get to a certain level. I am personally annoyed when I get killed by someone better than me (with more points) and still lose 50 points.

The only thing wrong with the points now is that you don't get the points you deserve unless you win or die naturally

Well that is probably because you kill 1 person a game and get 5 points, then you died and lost them again. Or its the bug where your points don't update automatically.

If you win more often, you lose more points when you lose, so really no matter where your at pn the spectrum its not going to help you.

You don't always get 5 points when you kill someone. How higher the points are who you killed how more points you will get. the minimum is 5 and the maximum is 50. That is also the case for losing your points. Also you shouldn't stay at spawn if someone has a sword

You shouldn't stick around spawn anyway. The survival Games becomes a race to see who can find the best stuff fastest right after the game begins.

Yeah that's true, but I think there is nothing what you can do about that than spreading the chests as much as possible.
