I don't think we really need this, just type the right number and this won't need to happen. If a map i winning and all of a sudden people do /unvote then I think is gonna make others angry. Just double check to see if you have the right number and then we won't need this. :)
There's quite a lot of people getting angry on MCSG already. I don't see how this would make a huge difference.

That wasn't my reason, just type in the number you want to vote for then double check it, change it if you didn't type the correct number. Pretty simple, huh?
( I made it as simple as I can so you can understand )

I think Shaun's idea is better, now that I think about it. Hopefully that is implemented into MCSG sometime.

I think you should only be able to do this once though, so people don't abuse it. This has been suggested many times before, and has never been particularly noticed by the higher up staff. Hopefully it does this time! I support :) But still only once.
Very good suggestion, but why add in an additional command when we can just allow players to retype /vote changing their arguement? Another command seems very unessessary.
I think it doesn't really make a big difference, but sure, whatever is easier for the developers :p

As HalfSquirrel said, it's an excellent idea. However, it WILL be abused unless there is some way to prevent it.

Which is why I think you should be only be able to change it once. If we used the /vote thing, it would have to be you can do it twice but the second one counts as a replacement for the first. If we used /unvote, it would pretend the first one never happened and then you would have to vote again.

Accidents happen to everyone, and if you cared specifically about what you voted and then made a map-changing mistake, you probably wouldn't be happy about it either.

Nice idea. Then wouldn't /unskip have to be added? :D Going off topic a bit here but this could also lead to skip and voting not just skiping and not being able to vote :)

I think /unvote would include your vote as a skip, so if you skipped you could probably do /unvote and it would take it away.

Also, I just thought of this, what if you want to change your vote?
Let's say Breeze is winning with 9 votes, and that's not the map you want to play, and you voted for Fallen Empire which has 2 votes from you. But then there is also Holiday Resort, which you would much rather play, with 8 votes, so you can unvote your Fallen Empire vote and change it to Holiday Resort so that it has a higher chance of winning.
There are many ways to use this command, not only to fix mistakes.

This idea is actually really cool!
A few times, i actually vote for the wrong option.
E.g. There is a battle between Valleyside University and SG4. I vote for SG4 instead of Valleyside, and SG4 is winning.. I am like "darn, sg4 is winning :/" and then, /unvote is really helpful ;)
