Only 1 Alert for Comments on Posts

Well with Threads if someone else replies on it if you're watching it you will get a notification saying "noob has replied to the thread noobs4lyf, there may be more posts after this" Now I think there should only be one alert for multiple comments on someones status, because every comment counts as one alert when it should just work like the threads.

Although I think there should be an alert for every person that comments, not every comment.
eg.
Ninga: haaha! cool
Ninga: haha*
Noob: hi
Ninga: herrro

The alerts from that would just say:
Ninga commented on *** They may post more after this.
Noob commented on***They may post more after this.
