Forum ranking system?

Hey guys,
I've been thinking. Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a ranking system incorporated into the forums? I know we have the 'achievements' which are great. But having actual ranks to aim for would encourage people to post in the forums more often. I know there are the donater ranks, but wouldn't it be nice if there was a non-donater ranking system!
Who agree's with this? I believe if we get a strong enough support base we could get this!

No, I don't think this wil work.
If you want a rank on the forums, then you should donate or become a moderator.

Fair enough. I'm just thinking that A) Not everyone can become a moderator, and B) Not everyone can afford/don't have the capacity to donate to get that title. I'm just thinking of the wider population

I can't afford becoming a donator and I guess I can't become a moderator either ><'
But why is a rank so important to you?

That would be pretty awesome actually x'D

But I don't think it adds much to the forums.
Rankings should be rare (only for mods, vips, donators).
But maybe only the top 12 posting members should get a rank

This is a good idea! Why 12? Such a strange number, why not 10?
If we have top 10 posting members, how about also top 5 MCSG players?

Ah! I see, I'm keen on getting there. So I have a fair bit of work ahead of me looks like.
But if that's the case, 12 is a good number
