Moderator- Younger banning

Ixlegendz, you've been banned on MCSG, any ban that hasn't been overturned will count against you when you apply for moderator. It doesn't matter how old you are when you were banned, simply that you've been banned. In your case you were banned for spamming, back in February of this year. I can guarantee that you've not matured as much as you've claimed in the past 3 months. Though, even without a ban you wouldn't be qualified to become a moderator because you're only turning 13, with the minimum age requirement being 14. Sorry that you probably wont be able to become a mod after your birthday, but you've to live with the mistakes you've made in the past no matter how much you're currently regretting them.

I can sort of see where he is coming from, a 13 year old isn't deemed to be old enough to be a moderator so I can understand why a 13 year old should get a clean record.

Gee, there's no stereotypical prejudice here.

If the limit was at around 17/18, we would have less than half the staff members we have now. Just consider that for a minute, and think about how these servers would not have survived. At all.



Even if they are following the "mod rules," at 14 sympathy is not even close to fully developed. A robot could do just as good of a job at modding as a 14 year old as it would strictly follow the rules, and not include the variables of a more matured mind would
Now, look at the younger staff members; how many of them are actually immature and do a bad job? If you're going to make comments like this, at least have evidence to back up your claim.

IMHO Minimum mod age should be 17 or 18. Fourteen is WAY to young. 14 year olds either take their job way too seriously and are un-sympathetic, or will abuse their power.
